Morning/Afternoon/Evening...
Despite it being the end of January (finally!), I'm going to make a new New Year's Resolution. I am going to try to blog on here more. Even if it's just talk about nothing in particular, but I am going to try.
Well, this was a useful procrastination post. I feel like I have had something I should be working on since November... my mind is just not cooperating anymore. Very frustrating! It's like I KNOW I have to do the work. I sit at my desk staring at it, and my brain just wanders off and thinks about the book I read this week, the fact I'd really like to go to see Tangled soon, or that Got To Dance is on tonight, and I'd quite like to watch it. This is not conducive to completing this project. Neither is writing this, but... shhhh!
Also, what doesn't help is that all my housemates have finished exams/ don't have work to do. I'm not begrudging them but still... doesn't help the concentration sitch.
And if anyone has any expertise in GPCRs and desensitisation, please shout ;)
On the plus side, this whole having loads of work thing has meant I have put together a pretty awesome
study playlist. It's still a work in progress but yeah, awesome playlist lol.
Well, I better actually go and get on with this work I've just complained about. Looking forward to 7th Feb! Partay time! Lol

Stuff and Anna and the French Kiss
To start on a particularly geeky note, I finished reading DH en français a few months ago. It took me a good few months, started at the start of summer but was determined to finish it before the DH Part 1 came out. I think it actually made me read it more closely, so I still enjoyed it as much as I did (though being my favourite of the series probably helped...).
For those interested:
Poulard = Hogwarts
Poufsouffle = Hufflepuff
Tom Jedusor = Tom Riddle
Rogue = Snape
Moldus = Muggles
For more go here: L'encyclopédie d'Harry Potter
Well, I was impressed with myself... lol. Might attempt Twilight (La Fascination) next (though compared to HP, it looks really easy), or maybe HP1 or 6 in deutsch (which looks REALLY hard)?
So. To the title subject of this post: Anna and the French Kiss.
This is a book written by Stephanie Perkins, that I saw mention around the forests of Twitter in the past few weeks. I trust my Twitter people in terms of what's good to read so I just bit the bullet as it were and ordered it off of Amazon. Few days later it popped through my letter box, and omg. It's amazing.
(More review after the jump.)
